I started working in Ceramic Restoration Five years ago, I have Conserved and Restored (through the Museum of Lancashire Conservation Studio) For a number of Museums Including Judges Lodgings the Museum of ChildHood, Salford Football Museum ,Wigan Museum Chester Museum to name just a few.

I Restore Royal Doulton, Moorcroft, Lladro, Beswick , Some of the repairs include Chips, Hairline Cracks, missing Fingers etc

The Dolls that arrive at the Studio normaly need re-stringing, new eyes wigs or Voice boxes we also repair Chatty Chathy Voice boxes, we also Restore Teddies.

My latest project is an Old Collison Rocking Horse and a Glass Shop Sign from the Bury Museum.

My work is fascinating I never know what will turn up at my Studio.

I have just compleated the First Ceramic Restoration Taster Course that was a great success.

At the end of July I will be updating my artistry skill working on Reborn Dolls, I aim to start reborn doll Course in the middle of next year.

My studio can be found on the 2nd floor of the new building at Burscough Wharf, we open from 1pm to 4pm from Wednesday to Sunday Closed Monday and Tuesday. Please call In for a demonstration and a friendly chat.
