Burscough Wharf is back open again and the restaurants are taking bookings. During the lockdown there have been some major changes and despite the coronavirus pandemic new businesses have been attracted to the Wharf. The former tea rooms are currently under refurbishment and Hugo’s Café Bar is set to open soon (watch this space). Cactus Ray are moving into larger premises in the Wharf and they are currently fitting out their new unit whilst continuing to trade from their existing premises. The former Jack & Gin is under offer to a cask ale/craft beer operator and Unit 5A is now an off-licence specialising in craft/artisan beers and ciders and trading as ‘Beer Haul’.
The Sinners Club and The Blue Mallard are now fully re-opened with outdoor seating in the courtyard.
The Wharf will shortly host the largest collection of food and drink venues under one roof in the area – exciting times lie ahead.
